Terms of service

Version 1 · effective October 29, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use AdmissionOdds. We wrote them to be read. If something is unclear, email support@admissionodds.com.

AdmissionOdds has not launched yet. Paid plans go on sale at launch, and the parts about subscriptions apply from then.

1. Who we are and who sells the subscription

AdmissionOdds (admissionodds.com) is run by Appcellent Yazılım Hizmetleri Anonim Şirketi (Appcellent Yazilim Hizmetleri Anonim Sirketi; “Appcellent”, “we”, “us”), Cumhuriyet Mah. Fatih Sultan Mehmet Blv. Cadde 224 A Blok No: 41 A/A, 16210 Nilüfer / Bursa, Türkiye. Email: support@admissionodds.com.

Paid plans are sold by Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Rotermanni 14, Tallinn 10111, Estonia, registry code 16977866), our online reseller and merchant of record. Creem takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, issues your receipt and processes refunds. When you buy, you buy from Creem under Creem’s buyer terms, and we provide the service.

2. What the odds are, and what they are not

Odds are estimates from public data, not guarantees. Each result is a range with a category (Reach, Target or Likely), the reason behind it, and the year and source of the data. Only the college decides, and it weighs things no calculator sees: essays, recommendations, activities, interviews and context.

The estimates come from official public data: each college’s Common Data Set and the U.S. Department of Education’s IPEDS and College Scorecard. This data runs one to two admission cycles behind, so every result shows its data year and links to its source.

The math assumes you have no “hook”, such as being a recruited athlete, a legacy, or the child of a donor or of staff. Hooks can change a decision a lot, and the math does not measure them. Colleges that admit fewer than 15% of applicants are always shown as Reach. A Likely result means students with numbers like yours were usually admitted there; it is not an offer of admission.

Use the odds as one input for a balanced list, together with your school counselor and each college’s own information. AdmissionOdds is not affiliated with or endorsed by any college, the College Board, ACT or Common App. SAT, AP, ACT and Common App are trademarks of their owners.

3. Free and paid features

Free: the chances calculator, every college page, a college list of up to 6 colleges, a basic deadline list and one essay feedback review.

Paid (Family plan): an unlimited college list balanced across Reach, Target and Likely, net cost and merit aid comparison, a parent view and shared list, deadline reminders and calendar sync, essay feedback, offer comparison in decision season, and up to 3 student profiles.

We may add features. We will not remove a paid feature during a period you have already paid for.

4. Who can use AdmissionOdds

  • Under 13: no account. AdmissionOdds is not for children under 13. Sign-up asks for your birth year first and stops if you are under 13.
  • 13 to 17: you can create an account with a parent’s or guardian’s permission, and a parent or guardian makes any purchase (section 7). The privacy policy lists the extra protections for students under 18.
  • EU, EEA and UK: if you live in the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or the United Kingdom, you must be 18 or older to create an account.
  • Where the law of your country sets a higher minimum age for using a service like this on your own, that age applies.
  • If we learn that an account belongs to someone below these ages, we close it and delete its data.

5. Your account and student profiles

  • Sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, or with Google. Keep your email account safe: it is the key to your AdmissionOdds account.
  • On the Family plan, one account can hold up to 3 student profiles, for students in your own family.
  • A share link lets a parent, a guardian or anyone else you choose see a student’s list, deadlines and costs. Nothing is shared until you create one, and you can turn it off at any time.
  • There are no public profiles, comments or messages between users.
  • You can download your data or delete your account at any time in your account settings. Deleting your account cancels your subscription right away, and any paid time left ends with it.

6. Essay feedback

Essay feedback comes from an AI system (Claude, made by Anthropic), not from a person. The AI never writes, rewrites or scores an essay. It points out what works and what to look at again in a draft you wrote. The words and the choices stay yours.

AI feedback can be wrong or miss what matters to a reader. Common App and many colleges have rules on using AI in applications, and you are responsible for following them.

The free plan includes one essay feedback review. On the Family plan, essay feedback has a usage limit, which we show in your account before you use it. Submit only your own writing. The privacy policy explains what happens to your essay text.

7. Subscriptions, prices and the free trial

The Family plan is billed yearly (the default) or monthly. Prices are in US dollars. Creem adds sales tax or VAT where it applies and shows the total before you pay.

PlanPriceFree trial
Yearly$99 per year3 days, with a card
Monthly$19.99 per monthNone

Free trial (yearly plan only): 3 days, with a card. We email you 1 day before the trial ends with the amount and the date of the first charge. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing. The trial is for new subscribers: if your account or your email address has had a plan before, the yearly plan starts without a trial.

Automatic renewal: a subscription renews automatically for the same period at the same price until you cancel. On the yearly plan, we email you 30 days and 7 days before each renewal with the amount, the date and how to cancel. On the monthly plan, we remind you once a year of your plan, its price and how to cancel.

Before you pay, checkout shows the price, how often you will be charged and how to cancel, and you agree to the automatic renewal. We keep a record of that agreement (the wording and the date) for 3 years after your subscription ends.

Who can buy: the checkout is the same whether a parent, a guardian or a student pays. The buyer must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where they live, if it is higher) and confirms this at checkout. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to buy the plan.

Price changes apply only from your next renewal. We email you 21 to 30 days before, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

Right of withdrawal: In the EU, the EEA and the UK, the law gives consumers 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. Because your access starts right away, checkout asks you to agree to that and to acknowledge that it limits your right of withdrawal. Our refund policy still gives you a full refund within 14 days of your first charge.

8. Cancelling

You can cancel online at any time in your account settings: no phone call, no chat and no survey. You can also email support@admissionodds.com and we cancel it for you. We confirm the cancellation by email, with the date your access ends.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. If you cancel during the free trial, you are not charged.

9. Refunds

Cancel during the free trial and you pay nothing. Ask within 14 days of your first charge (on either plan, including the first charge after a trial) or within 14 days of a yearly renewal, and you get a full refund, no reason needed. A monthly renewal can be refunded within 48 hours of the charge. The refund policy explains how to ask. It adds to your rights under the law where you live and never reduces them.

10. Your data

What you save is yours. The privacy policy explains what we collect and why. We never sell personal data, never share it for advertising, and never pass student data to colleges or anyone else.

11. Fair use

  • Use AdmissionOdds for your own family’s college planning.
  • Do not copy or scrape our pages or data at scale, and do not resell AdmissionOdds as a service.
  • Do not try to break into the service, overload it or get around its limits, including the essay feedback limit.
  • Do not submit other people’s essays or private details about other people, and do not try to make the essay feedback write text for you.
  • Do not use AdmissionOdds to make decisions about other people, such as admissions, scholarships or hiring.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. If we close your account without a good reason, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for.

12. Our content and yours

AdmissionOdds, its software, design and texts, and the way we compile college data belong to Appcellent. You may use them for your own planning while these terms apply. The public data itself belongs to its publishers, and each result links to its source.

What you enter and write stays yours. You allow us to store and process it only to run AdmissionOdds for you.

13. Availability and liability

We work to keep AdmissionOdds available and its data correct, but the service can have errors or pauses, colleges change their rules, and public data can be wrong or out of date. Check deadlines and requirements on each college’s own website before you apply.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any college’s decision or for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

These limits do not apply to harm we cause on purpose or through gross negligence, to death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or to any right that the law where you live does not let us limit or exclude.

14. Law and disputes

Please write to us first: most problems are solved fastest by email.

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts. There is no arbitration clause and no class action waiver.

15. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We email you at least 30 days before a change that affects you, and you can cancel before it applies. If a part of these terms is not valid, the rest stays in force. The version and date are at the top of this page.
