Questions
What is the Common Data Set?
A standard report that most US colleges publish every year, with the same questions in the same order: applicants and admits, test scores, early decision, waitlists, financial aid and more. Each college publishes its own, usually on its institutional research website.
Can I reuse these tables?
Yes. Every table has a CSV download. Use it freely and please link back to the table page. The numbers are the colleges’ own, and every row links to the document it came from.
How often is the data updated?
Once a year, when colleges publish their new Common Data Set (mostly between spring and fall). Each row shows which year it comes from.
